Updating

How to update Deskctl Bridge to the latest version.

Deskctl Bridge has a built-in updater that checks for new versions automatically. When an update is available, an Update Available button appears in the footer of the app next to the version number.

Click the button to download and install the update. The app will restart automatically once the update is applied.

Config is preserved

Your settings are not touched during updates. Configuration files are preserved across all update methods.

Release Channels

Deskctl Bridge supports two release channels:

ChannelTag patternDescription
Stablebridge-v1.0.0Production-ready releases
Betabridge-v1.0.0-beta.1Early access with newer features, may contain bugs

The app checks for updates from your current channel. Beta users receive beta updates, stable users receive stable updates.
